Used bread, a hammer, and my breaker bar to pop the a/t transmission adapter bushing out.

Clutch and flywheel in.

And the finished product.

It's fun to drive, however it runs rich as hell. I ruined new ngk plugs in 11 miles. so i put a new mass air flow in, but it may be my exhaust leak at the header causing it to run rich. Once I'm home from vacation I'll find out. Other than that. I'm pretty happy with the turd. Stock motor roasts tires. Couldn't be happier.

edit: my clutch line also leaks -.- I plan on picking up a braided one here in the near future. Also have to wire reverse lights.

Did you change the ecu when you changed the trans?

I'm not sure about 240s but mustangs don't like to run when you have an auto ecu in a manual.

No I didn't do the ecu. From the few swap guides I've read you don't need too. Only reason you would want to is if you want cruise control and the clutch pedal sensors really.

Bay shot! Then shortly after i was here.



Blown head gasket and bad injectors. So now i need a whole bunch of stuff to finish this.

I need:
Full gasket set
Timing chains, tensioners and guides
Another 91 exhaust cam for the hot cam swap
Gunna run bigger injectors. Not sure of size yet
Tb and intake
Nistune Ecu
Exhaust manifold

Hopefully next year she will be running strong again.

Whole front clip stripped. I need 2 front fenders and to repair some rust.



There's the rust. Not as bad as it looks.

So i went to napa to pick up a throttle body gasket wednesday. They screwed up and now I'm waiting until friday. Today i am going to pick up a coupler and hopefully a lower timing chain tensioner. I hate napa. Switching to advanced auto.


Thats the shorty intake. I just have a few more things to do with that. I don't know if I'm going to run it or not.



Finally dropped the oil pan and finished stripping the front of the motor.

Started buying parts. One arrived today. New lower tensioner.



Thankfully got a raise and another one coming. More to come soon.

Got my accessory belts today. Still waiting on the bigger package of stuff. Tuesday or Wednesday I should be ordering my arp studs and gasket set. She's getting there. Also picking up cams and a header this up coming week.

Little late on this update. Was in South Carolina all week.

But. I got more parts as well as ordered more parts.

Knock sensor, water pump,radiator hoses,2 oil filters,fuel filter,and air filter.

Friday night I ended up being able to order my arp head studs and all my gaskets. Still need to order some other hoses and what not as well as pick up fluids. But I'm aiming to have it running next weekend.
