rear clunking sound when backing up

When i reverse i hear a clunking sound from my rear passenger side tire area. I have a manual btw. I have no idea what it can be..any thoughts? Thanx

Yea it drives fine

Sorry to thread jack, I have had this happen to me once; but I've replaced the rear trail arm bushings already. So any other possibilities?? My car drives and rides fine as well.

If the noise is actually coming from the rear and not the front you're left with suspension pieces. Might be a lower control arm bushing, trailing arm, upper ball joint, etc. Take the tire off and wiggle stuff around, if it's clunking that bad you shouldn't have a problem finding it. If you don't know what you're looking for take it to a mechanic.
