The body is shit, but this whole two tone thing is getting old. So I will probably try getting silver bumper and fenders, and then possibly start with the motor.

Please don't stop working on it. It's come a long way.
A simple solution to eliminate the two toned thing going on would be to just get one of those $3 paint gun handles from Advance Auto Parts, get a few cans of silver paint and go to town.
