A bad dashpot or faulty air boost valve can both cause dying at idle.

The idle is around 700 and 900 rpm in park....What RPM does it idle at in park?

It has to be just DAs, all the intake manifolds I've seen it on have PGM-FI on them. B18b1 intake manifolds don't have that.Hmm I thought all LS motors did?
I'm also assuming that the car shifts perfectly when driving and there is no hesitation or jerkiness.
You are considering 700-900 as low idle? Because thats actually spot on.My bad it idled in park at 1000-1100 rpm and in drive it ideal 700-900 rpm
