Anyways, finally got around to check my check engine light so I had to jump the two wires. Got code 17. VSS speed sensor. About to research on how to fix it.

It's strange actually. I would have sworn that it would have gave me a knock sensor code since I don't have one but it didn't. It just gave me the long check engine light blink and then the 7 short ones to show code 17 and after that, it just kept repeating itself.

simple fix. The VSS is a sensor on the topside of the trans. Its a 2 part sensor (electrical and mechanical) one of those 2 parts went or is going bad.

Before replacing I would start by cleaning the terminal on both the male and female ends and see if you still get the code. If so you can A) replace each part and hope the one you replace was the bad part or B) replace the entire thing.

Youre welcome

Yeah, I came up with those conclusions too. I might as well replace the entire thing since the Trans is 17 years old and had 161k miles on it lol

But it's so strange that the CEL was never on while I was with the B18b1 and now it's on after the LSvtec.

Yeah. The best thing you can really do is LsVtec, you aren't really going to get anything from a b18b1 unless turbocharged

Went back to stock throttle body because the blox one was too big for the intake manifold and I was getting annoyed by the poor/hunting idle. The oem throttle body has a very high idle (about 1100 rpms). I checked the FITV and the IACV by blocking both the holes in the throttle body that leads to both the valves. The IACV is the culprit. The engine idle went down to the point where it sounded normal, I couldn't check to see if it went down to 950/800 rpms because I was alone lol. I assume it's the gasket that is bad because i pulled it off of a 1996 Honda Accord because I don't know where mines went and the o-ring seems to be a little smaller than the IACV, I need to double check it though cause it's been a while since I actually seen it. I thought it would be fine because I saw that they had the same part number on honda/acura oem parts websites. Anyways, anyone know where I can buy that gasket In a store? I really don't want to order it online since I want it asap.

on my last resort, using permatex, gasket maker. The gasket didn't seem to cover the entire two holes. Cleaned it up and now just waiting for it to dry and see if my luck works out.

I made a block off plate for mines. Kept it plugged in so that I wouldnt throw a CEL for it.
