Thanks guys. Got tired of seeing dirty headlights. Might be looking into getting a new red valve cover since the jdm that had this head cut part of the cover off to show the gears.

Emailed a tuning shop out in Baltimore and asked for quote on how much it would cost to get the Hondata s300 system installed and have it tuned. Gave me a quote of$1,009 :/
Thinking of just buying a ecu with hondata already installed and then spending the $300 on the tune.

Thats kinda high. RLZ charges ~400 for hondata/neptune and ~400 for turbo tunes 350 if NA and they are pretty reputable. I guess you have to pay to play :lol:

Still on the same topic. If I use a p72 ecu, Spark plugs intended for a GSR(NGK), and a GSR timing belt/water pump. Should I be using premium gas? Again, I know there's differences about a b18c1 and it's smaller combustion chamber and higher compression pistons.

You're running an LSV on a phearable chip? Yes run premium, it should tell you that on his site when you had the ecu done, or at least give you the option to choose and you should of chose the highest octane you can get.

that was the chipped p06 turned into p28. I'm running the p72 now because I traded that chipped ecu for a regular old p28 since I'm going to need it for a hondata tune.

It's funny and ironic how I've been having this poster since I first bought it at my elementary school book fair and I would have never thought I'd own the same type of car.
