I can get the car for 500 dollars. BUT the Head Gasket is shot...is it worth 500 dollars? It is in really clean shape, automatic, turquoise in color. Tan interior. AC is also in-opp.
1991 Integra, 204K miles, no air.

If the chassis is in good shape why not.
Even if the head is warped replacing that engine is relatively cheap.

yeah go for it. if it's in good shape that could be a profitable flip.

the owner is VERY FUSSY and would stop the car if the tempo guage got half way to warm, it NEVER got even near the red. He recently did water pump, fancy rims, new rubber, and brakes. He also had a new windshield installed. Other than that, he has 8k of repair and maintence reciepts for the last 5 years.

what about that darn head gasket...is this a DIY job? i'd like to avoid any high shop costs. I am a shade tree mechanic with basic hand tools.
