Sorry Is, haven't been on here for a bit. Hectic week...but yeah Aussie is right, there's no filter in there, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to do the gasket. I gotta order the myhondahabits one too, plus the stud kit, and get a new pan from somewhere. I think Dlo said he had a spare one I could buy from him...but yeah. My next day off without kids that I could do it is next week, the 28th.

Dude, this 4-1 header makes the teg rip at higher rpms. I've noticed it's more sluggish just puttin around at 25 or so, but man it gets up there fast 
oh and the new honda habits gasket is still leaking. Probably my fault seeing as I missed 3 bolts when torquing them down

Nah, I used to be one of the LS guys. But then when the db7 got totaled I was like "biatch give me some VTAC!!!!" Lol
And now I love it haha
Um...since I actually took care of it. Apparently that didn't occur to the PO. I had to cut, buff, and work at it. But totally worth it

So on my way home from work last night my stereo just turns off. Turns back on goes through the main start up screen, and I hit accept, and it works fine again. A little while later again just turns off, but the buttons don't even light up. So I say to myself "oh well, no stereo till I get home and can look at it". Few more miles down the road and I smell electrical fire smoke...
Instantly pull off to the side of the freeway turn the car off and check the sub, and feel the wires behind the stereo looking for the fire. Don't see or feel anything burning. Start the car again and smell smoke. Now I have to get off the freeway in a super ghetto neighborhood to take my seats out to check the amps. The amps are fine, and I see no problems, they turn on, the thermal and protection lights don't come.on, just power, but the stereo stays off. So I decide to pull the stereo out so it won't catch on fire and burn the car down while I'm driving home.
An hour later I finally get back on the road. I'm pretty sure the stereo unit burned up on the inside so that's awesome...now I have no tunes, but I'm thankful my car still runs and drives normal. Yesterday was hell, and I'm so glad it's over...

Haha, yeah for sure! Looked so much better after I took the rubbing compound to the paint. Me thinks.I'm going to respray them here somewhat soon. I have a spare set of steelies so one of these days when I get around to saving up a few bucks I'll buy a few cans of color matched paint from paintscratch. Get my db7 handles and the wheels painted in one go. And hopefully do a better job than the PO. Or might just pass the wheels off to Jeff who said he could get them powder coated for me for like $200.When he put on a crew decal!

Yep. When I pulled the stereo out the smell was coming from that. So...now to get a new touch screen in dash receiver...fml. Well head phones and my phone will be my stereo for now I guess
