Something could've caused it to light up, but then went away when you scanned the ECU. But the CEL will stay on. Its probably an o2 sensor that might be going out. Just reset it with an OBD II. Hopefully it doesn't come back, or if it does, it will show you the codes.
On certain cars, if you pull(I suggest the -neg) battery connector for 30mins-1hr. And reconnect it, the CEL should go off.
Got a video? Weird issue for sure if nothing is reading in the scanner. Maybe nothing's wrong and your cluster indicators were
Swapped from another gauge. I think the CEL light is I. The place of some oil lights on certain clusters.
Yeah I know, it's kinda far fetched but you never know
Yeh, I thought that too, but the cluster has all the other normal 'warning' lights like oil...etc...etc...
So I'm like "WTF are you trying to tell me?"
In either case, I will try resetting the ecu and see if it comes back on.
Which reminds me. Before the like remained constantly on, when I started the car, it used to blink 3 times before going off.
I never noticed it before, so I thought that it was 'normal'.
But now I see that it was warning me of something.
So I was playing racing rivals on my phone and I had this badass itr built on up. I was just killin' em left and right. I get this riced out little civic challenging me and I raise the bet to 10,000, this little fucker challenges me pinks. I'm like "Alright playa, what's the worst that can happen against this pissy ass civic." Turns out, it's a lot faster than my itr. Anyway, I'm freaking out. I'm so pissed. I'm ranting and racing to my girlfriend about how this little 9 year old probably knows nothing about cars and just got his parents credit card so they could bone in the other room. Long story short, I got over it. Haha I like this girl.
I ignored it for a few days because I thought the soil was moist and I went outside one day and all the leaves are a light green and fragile instead of the dark green. Now I'm all stressed out about it and need to baby it in hopes it comes back.
