08 cbr 1000's had a crank primary drive problem from the factory and got crank whine, It states on the 2008 cbr crank warranty issue that it doesn't cause issues with reliability or performance, Just makes tons of noise. I guess I could just ride the damn bike and hope it doesn't explode on me or something. Idk how much different the 06 motor is from 08 lol

Fuck it, Just ride it :lol: The whining noise is cool, Like a supercharger.

I did see several people mention the crank gear or something like that, They also mentioned it's only like a $60 part.

I would rip that beast apart and have it back together and running with a valve adjustment in under 12 hours haha

It should be okay to ride like that though, If it ever gets really, Really loud i'd consider looking into fixing it but if it maintains the semi loud "super charger" like whine I don't see any reason to worry, The RC makes almost the same noise because it has straight cut cam gears so if anyone asks to make up some bullshit, F*** em, It's your bike lol

They are comfy! They're eBay actually. But stole them for $100 from a guy with a slammed gsr who ripped his oil pan off hitting a construction zone lol. Blew the motor xD.
