Since the truck is running a lot better now since I fixed the coolant leak and I'm tired of messing with maintenance right now, I decided that it was time to add a little bit of, 'me' to the truck instead of fixing stuff. It still needs a fan clutch (the fan clutch is seized, causing the fan to stay on all of the time) and a new exhaust, but since those aren't really make-or-break repairs, I'm going to wait at least until next paycheck to mess with those.

I ordered an upgraded 3rd door handle (metal handle vs. plastic handle), a dome light cover (since the truck was missing one when I bought it), the rest of the blue LED's I need to finish the interior of the truck (out of the lights that work in there anyways; I have to figure out why the HVAC lights don't work), and some LED switchbacks for the bumper lenses (the bulbs in there don't match in color). Everything should hopefully be here by Wednesday.

It's been a while since I've had a decent update. Well, now I got one.

Dome light lens + blue LED.

Map light blue LED's.

Everything is now converted to blue LED's in the interior. Final result:

New 3rd door handle.

LED switchbacks in the turn signal/bumper lenses.
Parking lights only.

Turn signals only.

Parking lights + turn signals. It's extremely hard to tell the difference between this one and the parking lights only, but there is a subtle difference; enough to keep me out of trouble anyways, lol.

I know my headlight is cracked; I have another one in my room waiting for installation.
That's it for now, peoples! :)

This make me miss my truck. Didn't stand a chance with the head on collision I got into. Had big plans for it but I'm glad it worked out how it did because I got my DB :)

Sorry to hear about your truck, man. I'm glad your okay, though, and your DB is clean!
I do miss my DB a lot. I'll more than likely eventually get another one.
I've got a lot of plans for this truck.

So, today has been a fun day with Phineas.
This morning, I remembered a muddy gravel road on the way to school, so when I found it and noticed that I had a few minutes to kill before I had to be there, so I decided to go explore the road a little bit.
A little playing turned into a lot of playing. I estimate that the road was about 1/2 mile long each way (a mile round trip), and I spent about 3/4ths of it sideways. It was all straightaways and s-turns.
On the straightaways, I wasn't catching traction until about 45-mph because I had it almost floorboarded and wasn't about to let off.
I had a blast.
Then, when I got to school, I made it through two classes, and before the third class, I got bored. So, I did this:

My truck may be lowered and two-wheel drive, but it's still a truck, and it will be treated like one. :p

After looking around online, I can't find a complete wheel hub bearing assembly for the front of my truck, so that's going to be put off for a little while longer so I can afford to get a few other things done. I'm also not going to do an alignment until I get the wheel hub bearing assembly replaced.
So, fan clutch is next on the list, then probably a new head unit and speakers, and then either my exhaust or my other idea. I don't know if I've mentioned my other idea to any of you or not. If I have, keep it down, and if I haven't, it's a secret.

So, after talking to some guys on S-10 Forum, I found out that there is no such thing as ZQ8 front spindles. So, the previous owner lied to me on what the front suspension is lowered on. Now, the new question is -- "What the heck am I lowered on?
It now seems like I need to re-do the entire front suspension, which, if I do, will be 2" coil springs, Blazer spindles (if they're interchangeable; I'm awaiting confirmation on that) for easier maintenance, and new shocks. I'll be going with a progressive rate front shock if I can find them.
Just another thing to add to the list. Surprisingly, for the previous owner being as much of an idiot as he was, the truck has held up really well since the repairs I've done and it actually handles pretty smoothly.

After some researching and some thinking, I believe that this is my new plan for my suspension setup... whenever the time and money allows. >.<
