How the? Damn the color is good on that one, My camera makes red lights look all bled out and orange.

Or did you shop it to get that?

Try messing with different white balance settings

Lol, I've tried, Even with very low exposures it just seems very difficult if not impossible to get a nice solid, Clean red out of it, That is with lights, As long as it's not a red light source my camera captures reds just fine.

Nah, If you've seen my Shoe shot with my pc in the background you can see longer exposures have a lot of distortion.

The lights in my pc to the eye have a nice full red tone to them like the red in Trees shot up there but I haven't been able to quite recreate it in a shot, It always bleeds into orange, My gauges in the teg do the same thing even with the brightness toned way down, I think it's just because the d3100 has an unforgiving sensor.

What do you guys think of this one? I was playing around in photoshop with one of the pictures I took to test the exposure before I lit the sparklers. I decided to get rid of the boring sky with a star trail I shot later that night in a different location. This is my first time doing anything like this:lol:

It's pretty straight forward Kurt. I built one using office supplies from work and a fluorescent light above it from my desk. Uploading from tapatalk so It's watered down in quality:

Here's the photo I got out of it:

All I did was grab an empty box and taped white paper all over it. I'll probably make another one using paint instead.
