Hey guys i just got to the muffler shop to throw on a muffler and they dont want to work on it cause they smell gas. Def fumes maybe gas leak. But so far we dont see any gas leaking what could be the problem?

Check all your fuel lines and the tank, as well as your fuel filter and fuel rail. Its leaking from somewhere. That's the only way you would smell it.

So i went to my friends shop to put it on the lift. The smell went away and we checked. Injectors, fuel rail, fuel filter, fuel lines, and gas tank no signs of any leak. Weird!

They make this vapor that you can put in the tank that will smoke out where it's leaking.

Most shops have the tool to do this, it's called a "Smoke Pro". If they work on Chevy's they will have one. There's a valve on an EGR line that you need to pull (same thing as a tire valve but it's REVERSE threaded) then said Smoke Pro gets attached via a small rubber hose. It fills the whole system with smoke and you find the leak ;)

Cruise today hope it turns out good, 140 marked going and 50 maybes on fb so who knows, It's in hour nad half and I still gotta wash my car, Hangover from hell and gotta find my wallet.. Pretty sure it's in my car but if it's not i'm going to be pissed had atleast hundred bucks in it ._.
