1987 teg upgrades

does anyone know of good sites to go to for getting parts to upgrade my teg. I've looked but most don't have what I am looking for. My teg has stock d16a1 brown top, I want to upgrade cams but not sure what all I would need, ive heard that zc cams can be swapped in without any changes. Kind of thinking I want to try and change all stock stuff over to zc components just not sure what all is different between d16a1 and d16zc.

Also want to know if there is a way to change from vacuum advance distributor to regular distributor. I want to lower the car a little bit, and wanted to know if I can change the front suspension to coil overs or if I should stay with torsion set up.
Any ideas and advice would be great thank you.

sorry for the lack of punctuation earlier.

No fucks given.
Apparently punctuation doesn't apply to this one.... I'd help, but my eyes start scrambling after the first line.

There is a search function. I have covered this several times.

Yes zc cams can be swapped without needing any work. There is very few differences between a zc and a d16a1. Yes you can convert from vac advance to "regular".. as you call it(electronic advance) but if you have to ask.. you shouldnt do it. Yes you can get rid of the torsion bars and but in struts and springs, IF you want to spend the money to reinforce the towers.

Thank you for your advice. I'm new to forums and Integra mods. I'll try searching the forums more, anytime I search online I see some people say you have to change more then just cams, and others say they swap without any changes.

I think I'll leave the suspension alone, what are your thoughts on body kits. When I bought the car it had a type M kit on it. The bumper cover was pretty beat up and the rest of the kit doesn't look like it sits right, and is loose in some parts.

Thank you again for the advice. I'm not looking to rice/hotrod my teg, just looking to make it nice again. Right now looking for front and rear bumper covers to put body back to stock look. As far as engine goes I want to do internal zc swap, so far not having luck locating parts, which I expected. I'd post pics but I have to load them from my phone. Any sites you can recommend would be great, still searching the forums but not having luck so far.

Again thank you for the advice

I would recommend getting a hold of either me, or Danny Carlson on facebook to find you parts man. Thats all Danny does for a living is locate, buy, and sell classic honda parts. He owns and operates NWCLASSICHONDA out of seattle. I come across the zc cams every once in awhile and I can keep my eyes open, but it will take some time

idk if it has all ready been said or not but andysautosport.com is an all right place
NO ITS NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THAT s*** WEBSITE. You can even look them up on BBB.com, they are terrible.

But either chedda's auto, who custom makes a lot of parts for pre-88 honda's along with Danny Carlson who find just about anything you need, you should be able to find anything you need.

There is also the G1teg.org website, cheddas auto website and facebook or i hate to say.. but egay.. sometimes

But the thing to remember about having a classic honda is that A. there isnt a whole lot of aftermarket parts. Its all about optional and making your car show who you are.
And B. that Everything you want to do, has been done
