Thanks!
What would you improve on them?
Depends what your aiming for...hard to critique if we don't know what photo quality your aiming in the end.

Black/White always contrasts good
Color---i like how you nailed it right on. plus i love color always..:)

If your wanting a major critique...the thing that bothered me the most was the grass/moss area...i was feeling it should be turned down just a tad bit on the green its very bright for it being moss...but that depends on how it looked everywhere else.

Overall all man the photos are great..as suggested by Joe i wouldn't change either of them. It just depends on the overall shot your wanting to nail down, like what composition where you aiming for or photo quality in the end. Are you wanting a more vibrant look or a saturated feel..Things like that. Or are you wanting a more dynamic shot such as tilting the lens just a tad bit so its off centered. We called that wobby sobby back in college...lol

In the end i like them both...so good job Austin. :thumbs up

Thanks a lot! I learn the most from critiques!

On a side note I bought the D90 off my uncle and he cut me a pretty good deal I'd say . it showed up in the mail right before work, so I haven't used it yet. D90 body w/ 18-105 kit lense and a Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF-s prime lense. All for $450!
