It's not necessarily only how your car looks. It depends on your attitude, whether or not you have plans for your car, if you follow through on those plans etc...I mean we have that guy with the crx and it don't look to appeasing to the eyes, but he's done stuff to the motor and is currently working at making it look presentable. We had one kid wanted to join, he had his civic for like 3 years and it looked like garbage and was bone stock minus the ebay ram intake...we said no cause it didn't seem like he was gonna go anywhere with it you know? It's all a case by case thing.

Parkland. I want a remote start installed on my manual. I asked in one of the Pacific threads, but no one chimed in :(
Plus, I didn't think car toys installed remote start on manual cus of the incident that happened over 15 yrs ago ?

Nah, car toys does all that stuff.. I can talk to my boy and at least see about getting you a little mark down or sumthn. But either way, he does some of the best installs around.

I just went to car toys and they do remote start. But then I thought about it. I want a external kill switch and the remote start wont work with both. So, Im just gonna have to go out to the car, in the cold and deal with the cold starts in the morning. Boy, will I miss my remote start

Will definitely like a to get a better deal than what I was quoted. Im sure I talked to your boy today. ill just wait to see what you can do.
I went to foss car audio as well, they deal with compustar. Never heard of them before. I was quoted $500 less than car toys. But im not sure about compustar. Anyone heard of them?

Ok, well if that's the case, I have a shot then. But time is hard to come by to work on the car, especially if you don't have a garage in this weather.

Yeah, if you got quoted 500 LESS, it aint my boy. what was his name? my alarm, no remote start, but every additional sensor added on all cost me less than the alarm sticker price.. And got a remote start in another car for 130. I've heard of Foss Audio, just the name tho. Not sure about their work.

nice. I had them add all sensors they could possibly put on the alarm, to the cost of the alarm, along with smart windows. They charge for everything from hood/trunk pins to removing the old alarm.
His name was Carl, but the sales person was there with him and not sure if he was the manager. Carl knew a lot, so thats why I was thinking he might have been your boy.

I just went to foss to see what they were charging people. I shop around to find what installers know, or dont know.
