So far it's at $1100. Looking at another 5-6 to finish it. You could build one a lot cheaper if you did want one. I know they make pretty good complete bikes around the $500 range. Check out Danscomp.com

I might get rims/tires and sprockets for mine, It's old as s*** and I've had some hard landings and broken several rims but the rest of it's still super solid, Not particularly lightweight though haha.

I remember my Canadian Tire bike being build to withstand a nuclear blast. I don't remember why I ended up getting a new bike to cruise on.
You could always do that then just upgrade as you broke things.

Is that 1100 USD or Canadian? :lol: I'll stick to my $200 DK. It'll probably end up around 6-700 after everything, but that can wait.
