Rear brake lights won't go off

When I turn off the ignition on my Honda Integra 2002 , the rear brake lights remain on. I have disconnected the battery, any suggestions would be very much appreciated. :(

Brake light switch is probably done for, or like 94RS suggested, the plastic piece on the pedal broke off.

99.99% of the time it's the little plastic tab that goes on the brake pedal up top has broken. Go to the dealership and they usually always have them in stock.

Yup. Mine are still original on all of my tegs. I have been thinking about picking up several of them and just replacing them, because it is only a matter of time. Preventive maintenance is key.

Here is the part number:
46505-SA5-000

It should be under $2.

Didn't know they made Integras in 02. Lol unless your talking about an rsx? But yeah listen to nick and 94rs the little brake piece probly broke

Wow...how did I miss that... The part number is the same regardless though. :p
