speakers setup

Hey guys i recently purchased a 97 integra gs-r. Missing 3 speakers and a tweeter. living off 1 rear and a tweet its bad. I was curious if i could fit the db6501 in the front and a db651 in the rear without any complications. Maybe db651s in the rear if the regular 651 don't fit. thanks for the help, and sorry if i did anything wrong i am new to the forum

yes you can but the mm6501 and mm6501 series or polk is much better in quality in sound and has more bass, although i would put in a a 4 channel amp. you wouldnt believe how as simple an amp will make the speakers come alive.

they are also about $150+ more

Yea well it's a better speaker, db are basic Polk speakers, mm series is higher quality speaker and puts out more watts. If money is an issue just get db series, than get an amp!

I have the db series speakers in my car. Fit like a glove. I think they are exactly what you are wanting.

for now i will probably use the stock amps, kind of on a budget just didn't want wally world speakers.

Hmm, might not be the same. I know i have polk db's, but idk the model.

Tweeters fit, you can even use stock door pannel location.

Alpine Type-s and Type-R's fit but the R's will require an amp for a decent sound and the S's are geared more towards mids and highs. Think I paid around $110 per set on the Type'S's, I later balanced them by adding two Kicker 6x9's in boxes in the trunk with a 560watt pioneer amp, they sound pretty good at all volume levels.
