I finally got around to taking pictures today of the stuff that I've done to my car lately. I'll post them when I put my sideview mirrors (plural; the new one came in and I painted them both) back on.
I did NOT go with JUST black on the mirrors. I did something different. You'll see it later.

Good deal on that tablet. Can't wait to see the mirrors.
Here's what I've done since I last posted.

'Daily driven.'

'[Hoonigan]'

'Flatout'; flatoutgfx

Painted, 'A' on steering wheel.

Pulled Styrofoam out of the front doors.

Painted mirrors; scuffed with Scotch-Brite, primered, coated with 2x black base coat, 2x semi-gloss clear coat, 1x red glitter clear coat, and 5x semi-gloss clear coat.

Random pictures.

Sorry I haven't updated my car in a while. I've had the flu all week and no money, lol.
I did actually get a chance to do some much needed maintenance and a few upgrades to my drumset, so here are a few pictures of that.

I'm curious why you did maroon glittery mirrors.
They didn't match and I was bored. Lol.
They're actually black with a coat of glitter red clear. It actually matches the car pretty well in my opinion.

Random shot of a new decal I ordered a few weeks ago. It just came in today, so I figured why not?
All of these excess decals these people keep sending me are just stacking up. I'm gonna have to start giving them away.

I also ordered a few more parts for my drumset. They should hopefully be here by the end of the week.

You should plastidip your window trim.
It's in the plans if I wind up keeping it. I'm not going to do anything to it other than maintenance until I find out the verdict from the band. This will also give me a little bit of time to get caught up on bills. :)
If I wind up keeping it, I've got about $600 worth of plans for it including maintenance and a few toys.

nice build
Thanks, man!
Update: I've had multiple auditions and practices for the band that I'm trying out for, but still no decision has been made. The lead guitarist/co-founder of the band did say that my drumming literally, "wow'd" him this last practice, and after I told him that I hadn't even had time to practice the week before hand, he was even more impressed. He then continued to tell me that even though there are a few more tryouts to go that there is a really good chance that I made the cut. So, if that turns out to be the case, I will be selling or trading the 'Teg.
I originally thought that I wanted a Toyota 4Runner, and I still kind of do, but after doing some research, I don't really want to put gas in it. So, now my attention is being primarily focused on a '97-'00 EK hatch or a '98-'04 S-10 pickup.

Here's my "maintenance write-up's" for both the EK and the S-10.

Notes: I did pick Duralast products for a few things on purpose. The Duralast products I chose have lifetime warranties and I can't justify spending the money for OEM if I can just take it off, turn it in, and walk out with another one free of charge.

S-10: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i113bte50543ipi/1998-2004 Chevrolet S-10 2.2L.docx

This wouldn't be all that'd be done to either car. It's just what I'd start with to get maintenance out of the way.
