Weigh the paint in the cans before and after painting.
Weigh the welding rod and estimate the amount you used.
The tubing should be the easy part, just weigh that s***.
As for more weight loss... hmm... civic aluminum racing radiator might help.
Also I know im gonna get s*** for this but the Yonaka seats are pretty affordable and should weigh less than stock ones.
the exhaust will loose you weight once you change it over to a racecar type, and don't forget a lightweight flywheel will save several pounds.
Still super jealous of your build
I think that would be the best way to weigh the paint in.
As for the rad I will be needing a full size rad. I've started my research on K swaps and I'm starting to piece together a parts list. It seems like all the people who lap their cars need a full size rad to keep them cool during hard driving. I'd rather err on the side of caution.
I know for sure I have another 3-4 lbs in sound deadning under the carpet, the carpet it's self is probably 5 lbs. The hatch trim (probably coming out tomorrow) probably around 3 lbs. I like to lowball weight so as it comes out it seems bigger than it is
As for seats I will be buying a FIA approved seat. I really like the look of a VIOS III, but as far as I know they aren't FIA approved.
