What happens when you have JDM headlights and can't find any headlight bulbs? Call the guy with the RHD japanese civic. Hahaha. Gave him a call and he has a couple password jdm sets, couple stanley sets, some others. Going to go get a set tomorrow I guess

not me...never had an issue

only a little bit where it goes over the cams and in the corners to help hold it in place. like a bb sized dab of rtv.

This is what I did on my civic. When I painted my Teg's vc I didn't have any around and I got by with no leaks

If the gasket is new you would only really need it to hold it in the vc while flipping it over.

I only used a dab in the curves and corners when I painted my cover with an OEM gasket.
