Yesterday, I had a free afternoon and decided to go to the shop to install various suspension components on DJ. To make things easier, I threw everything inside my dad's Crosstour (Big Bertha) along with my new set of WedsSport TC105Ns. Unfortunately, we ran into a couple of issues with the cooling system and didn't have enough time to install the suspension bits.

First thing on the list was to replace the broken OEM thermostat which was stuck in the open position. We slapped the brand new Mishimoto one on and waited around 20 minutes for the fans to turn on. After 20 minutes, the fans still didn't activate and the motor started overheating. Checked the thermostat and it was now stuck in the open position. Checked the fan switch and turns out it was busted as well. So I'll be ordering a brand new OEM fan switch, thermostat, and aluminum radiator (Mishimoto or Koyo) in the near future.

Here's a photo of DJ's interior. It's not the prettiest sight, but it's work in progress. I plan on swapping out the tan dash and door panels out for black ones, which I know will make a huge improvement in the cockpit.

Lastly, here's a photo of my new set of WedsSport TC105Ns installed. I really love how these wheels look and can't wait to see them once DJ gets a new front end and paint job next year!

This past Sunday, I went to the shop again to continue working on DJ.

Goals for Sunday:
Install ASR rear subframe reinforcement brace - Completed
Install Buddy Club P-1 Racing rear lower control arms - Completed
Install Eibach 25mm rear sway bar - Failed due to hardware issue
Replace fan switch - Completed
Replace thermostat - Completed

Here are a couple of photos below.

The more I look at the Buddy Club P-1 Racing rear lower control arms, the more I love them. I'm really feeling the titanium color. And to think that I originally ordered black ones and received the titanium ones by accident... What a wonderful accident!

Here's a photo of the rear suspension mocked up. The sway bar is bolted onto the ASR brace, but not to the control arms due to a hardware issue. The bolts that came with the Eibach spherical enlinks were designed to work with OEM GS-R or Type R control arms and not aftermarket units. So I need to go find some longer bolts soon. Talk about a killjoy...

I'll be taking a break from working on DJ all November due to my crazy schedule. I should have some time to get back to work in December though. I'll update the thread if anything comes up.

Lasty, big thanks to Romeo Gerolaga for helping me work on DJ!
