Nice Build thread, but you have a lot of work ahead of you

I gotta ask though, coming from somone who has a rhd integra, why do you want to convert a perfectly good lhd car, into a rhd on our roads? Its a total pain sometimes driving rhd lol

Yeah, I do, but I'm looking forward to doing more than just bolt on mods.

Honestly, my reason isn't very well explained, other than I want it, and I want my car to be different than most Integras around here.

I feel like you'll have to learn how to shift all over again haha, but I wouldn't know

I get that. Thats why i bought an imported dc2. Not very many around. I dont care for the expensive bolt ons that lots of guys do. Very few insurance companies will cover RHD. I was lucky to find a company that will cover it for somewhat cheap. If you havent shopped around, do so.

Maybe for the fre 5 minutes lol When i first got in mine, i shifted from 1st to 4th haha it was retarded. I found its harder to get used to the lights and wiper controls reversed. Id go to turn my signal on, but id turn my wipers on instead.

I've talked to my insurance company in the past about it and they haven't said anything against it. I will double check though. If you don't mind, could you pm me what company you're with? Thanks.

I was thinking it will take a little bit to get used to shifting with the opposite hand. Wait, are you saying the turn signal/headlight stick is on the right in the rhd car??

Yeah man, turn signal is on the right side of the column, wiper controls on the left side. its the hardest part i found to get used to haha

Ill pm you the company im with later on (im at work, replying quickly). But basically I had to bring over my daily car and my house insurance for them to even consider my RHD. They requested I take my pictures of my car with a piece of paper on it with my name in full in every photo to make sure it is what I say it is and it isnt highly modified. So they may dismiss your request for insurance if you have noticable mods

I had no idea it was on the other side, that'll be weird to get used to. Haha

One small update. I got in touch with the seller of the Ap1 S2000 cluster and I guess FedEx really messed up. He sent out a second cluster and now everything seems to work out with the tracking number. It's higher mileage, but it actually matches the car mileage (pretty close) so that's a bonus I guess.

Well I was itching to get working on the car, but it was pouring rain. So I grabbed everything I needed and holed myself up in the car. I decided to install the ITR shift boot today.

Center console is removed. One screw at the back of the ash try gave me the hardest time! It's pretty obvious the original owner spilled something in the car from the console, shift boot and a few stains. Anyways, they will be addressed shortly.

Now that the console was out I went into the house to change things over and get better lighting. Filthy!

As you should know by now, dirt drives me crazy! So I disassembled the center console and took care of it.

The original boot was worn out and dirty as ever. In my typical fashion here is an Old vs New picture.

Center console all back together, cleaned up and the OEM ITR boot installed.

I cleaned up under the console best I could with no vacuum or anything.

And the beautiful new boot installed. :)
