Long time no see people! Here are some nice updates... She finally went out on the road again ! Had to take her about 20 miles out to a shop to get the exhaust and the suspension done.. Pretty far but i really trust this guy and he does real good work for unbeatable prices.. My wheel almost came off going 60mph going there because i didn't tighten the lugnuts really good in the front left wheel ( very scary experience ) But i made it safe there and back and she did good! Enjoi the pics and ask me any questions if you wonder about anything...
Some personal opinions..
Yonaka exhaust - Very nice looking and i didn't see any quality issues or problems on welds ( visually) only time will tell ... But very very quiet ... If ur the attention getter type this is a no-go .. But definitely very deep and nice sounding and little bit louder than stock ( from what i recall from other people that had all stock setup ) once you get on it at high rpm's ( 4k+ ) .. So im happy with looks and sound..
Truhart / Skunk2 ( Shock/Spring combo ) - I cannot really compare it to stock as my car came with cut-coils but it feels 5x firmer and responsive than before... Very tight and firm but also rides more comfortable than the cut-coil / oem shocks.. Took some tight turns at 30-40-50 mph and it felt great and responsive.. Very good on the highway ride wise can't even feel the road and also doesn't budge going over little bumps .. But some medium sized bumps hurt a little ... Overall the ride is alot better than i expected and it feels great in the corners ( so far ) . Stance/Slam/Lowering wise it was about an 1''-1.5'' lower than my cut coils and it is perfectly where i want it to be , maybe it'll drop another .5'' or so when it settles but i have 14's and about a 2 finger gap ( 1.5''-2.0'' ) between fender and tires.. So i really wouldn't go over 15'' with this setup unless u have perfect roads or like 45 tall tires..
So thats about it from me, shoot any questions you may have...
