Those bottle caps don't look half bad! What is the center bore on them? did you get centric rings?
I have no idea of the centerbore... But they fitted nice and i did not feel any vibration.. Also the front brakes barely cleared the rim.. Maybe .5-1 inch away from hitting the calipers... I did not use any rings...

Rear wiper delete, not sure how much weight it'll take off but everything counts, not to mention it'll look a lot better too.

Yes guys i haven't got around to do it yet but that ugly thing IS , going out :D I once fiddled with the back panel to see if it would come off but recently learned you need the other pieces out before you get the main piece... Ordering my exhaust either today or tomorrow and hopefully it'll be on by next tuesday ready for school...

Spark plug change ( eww old ones )

Guys i think my car is running a little rich , it backfires when it's idling like little popping noises is that normal ? Or is it because i dont have exhaust ? Or maybe i thought it might be the ecu? :D thnx

Have you made a list of and totaled everything you've taken out of your car? I'm cutting some weight off my own car. I haven't taken a lot out and I'm already at 80.91 pounds removed. I'd imagine your number is pretty significant.

If I were you I'd put your headrest back in, in case something were to happen safety>weight imo. Just my 2 cents.

Long time no see people! Here are some nice updates... She finally went out on the road again ! Had to take her about 20 miles out to a shop to get the exhaust and the suspension done.. Pretty far but i really trust this guy and he does real good work for unbeatable prices.. My wheel almost came off going 60mph going there because i didn't tighten the lugnuts really good in the front left wheel ( very scary experience ) But i made it safe there and back and she did good! Enjoi the pics and ask me any questions if you wonder about anything...

Some personal opinions..

Yonaka exhaust - Very nice looking and i didn't see any quality issues or problems on welds ( visually) only time will tell ... But very very quiet ... If ur the attention getter type this is a no-go .. But definitely very deep and nice sounding and little bit louder than stock ( from what i recall from other people that had all stock setup ) once you get on it at high rpm's ( 4k+ ) .. So im happy with looks and sound..

Truhart / Skunk2 ( Shock/Spring combo ) - I cannot really compare it to stock as my car came with cut-coils but it feels 5x firmer and responsive than before... Very tight and firm but also rides more comfortable than the cut-coil / oem shocks.. Took some tight turns at 30-40-50 mph and it felt great and responsive.. Very good on the highway ride wise can't even feel the road and also doesn't budge going over little bumps .. But some medium sized bumps hurt a little ... Overall the ride is alot better than i expected and it feels great in the corners ( so far ) . Stance/Slam/Lowering wise it was about an 1''-1.5'' lower than my cut coils and it is perfectly where i want it to be , maybe it'll drop another .5'' or so when it settles but i have 14's and about a 2 finger gap ( 1.5''-2.0'' ) between fender and tires.. So i really wouldn't go over 15'' with this setup unless u have perfect roads or like 45 tall tires..

So thats about it from me, shoot any questions you may have...

Hey guys long time no posts.. Well i actually found some time through school and work and worked on my car a little more.. Some more weight reduction and got her a little cleaner lookin. Took some pictures to see where it's at .. Took care of somethings under the hood like the alternator was missing a bolt , Motor mounts were loose and AC had to be replaced .. It's slowly coming together but we'll see.. I traded my backup valve cover for a gsr wing and got a new bucket seat.. Also painted my valvecover same color as my rims .. My suspension is finally settling and i feel very confident on the corners now compared to my cut springs.. Here's some pics...

No fucks given.
Oh shit... I hope Merlin's Beard doesn't see the seat...

Why'd you end up with an NRG instead of one of the cheaper seats from one of the established seat companies anyway? Corbeau has some decently priced seats, and they're well established in the racing world.

Yes i agree corbeau has decent priced seats and a very well know company but most of their seat wouldn't fit or i didn't like the look of them the one i liked was about 300 bucks plus shipping and then i had to get their sliders and bracket which was about over 400 total.. And they are not compatible with regular seatbelts and they won't recline.. I got both seats with sliders and bracket for 350$ plus they recline and i can use my regular seatbelt... All in all i really didnt wanna spend over 500 bucks where i can use it somewhere else... It does the job and looks very nice.. I am a person who always buys the best i can find but for this i really didn't see the need for an overly expensive seat which will practically be the same with a different brand tag.. I am also very delicate about my seating position so reclining was very important... Sorry for writing too long but i hope i got a point..

Also i sold my second seat to a friend with an eg since he wanted to change his passenger seat but didn't want to buy both .. He has the Sparco EvoII and a second one would bury a hole in his pocket so he bought my passenger seat for 150.. So overall i got away with 200 bucks...

I got my car weighed in at 2276 pounds.. ! ! All with A/C , sunroof and both seats in place.. Very surprised i was expecting over 2500.. Also got a crome tune , port/polish intake , heads and personally smoothened the entrance of the headers... Made 168whp not bad at all for just bolt ons imo :D
