Just be careful with it man, I'm not telling you to use it or not, but running boost on a stock engine is a little dangerous.

Its really simple dude.
1 Buy a quality turbo kit. NOT from eBay
2 Get it tuned by a professional immediately.
You can safely make around 300whp on a stock B18 regardless of PSI.
OK? Enjoy.

The liming factor being the cast pistons first, then the stock sleeve liners are the same quality and type in B18A/B vs B18C1/5, therefor I'd say yes. Obviously it would take more boost considering the lower compression and head.

We have a highest hp stock block thread on Honda-Tech. Highest HP LS is 505whp. Yet Ive seen others split stock sleeves at 250hp. So there is a huge fudge factor here as well. Lets just say ~300 is "safe".

For the love of all that is holy, It's all in the tune and putting together a solid kit! Stock motor will take boost all day long if you are conservative and do it right! Tuning is the part everyone always slacks on and that's why they blow their motors! That and having a healthy motor to start with is another big factor!

I was gonna say, there is someone over at H-T running a stock motor at over 500HP if I remember correctly. Was in the recent H-T Newsletter. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
