Don't mean to sound like a d*^k but it's the guys choice he obviously knows the risk or fake seats as does anyone with fake stuff (I personally haven't seen anyone get ejected or almost die from being in a accident with fake seats, if something's going to fail it will fail at the end of the day it's a seat maybe not a sturdy one but should stay bolted up and I'm pretty sure they don't use cheap bolts or cheap steal frame for them right?
I assume that that people don't know the risk of using fake or knock-off parts and how dangerous they can be, which is why I tell them to not buy the cheap fake parts because they can cause injury or death in some situations where factory or real parts would have kept them perfectly safe.
The hinges of the seats are designed to fail in rollover accidents and prevent the driver from getting crushed by the roof when it caves in. OEM seats have thousands of hours put into them to make sure they are safe and fail in a predictable and consistent manner. Real aftermarket seats are made to the same standards as OEM seats with similar amounts of development and testing time. They often use higher quality and lighter materials than OEM seats.
Most knock-off seats don't put much time into testing their product. They don't use the same materials as the real seats, usually materials are much lower quality.
They do use cheap bolts and cheap steel construction and usually copy the rough idea of how the real seat is designed and make it look the same on the outside. That's why they are so cheap. They don't do R&D, they don't use high quality materials, and they don't have high safety and durability as a result.
For example, ebay exhausts are made of stainless steel, but they will rust after a month or so, real exhausts are also made from stainless steel but they last forever, quality of materials makes all the difference.
As far as answering the OP's question, my answer stays the same. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if the rails will fit because he shouldn't get them.
