i agree and im a veteran as wellbeing in the Navy, i dont find this disrespectful at all. like what was said above, people drink and party it up on ind.day. for what? a war that people died in? what about the relatives of ones that died? you think theyre being sad on that day? hell no. theyre wanting their 3-4 day weekend off to go out and celebrate that people died. awesome.
yeah people grieve over those days, right? f*** all you that think im disrespecting. eventually, this will become a national holiday and people will start doing the same damn thing by drinking and partying it up. when that happens, youll remember posting on here that you think i was disrespecting and realize i was right.

you're reasoning is wrong. people celebrate Independence Day because we fought and won our independence. 9/11 was an attack, nothing to celebrate but to remember the people that lost their lives.
theres nothing to be happy about then with all these 'holidays' that people died in.As a Vet... & Proud American... there is nothing Happy about this day. PERIOD!
there is no comparison between Independence day ( a day we fought for and won our independence from the tyranny of Brittan) and 9/11 when thousands of innocent American lives were lost in a Jihad terrorist attack.
Absolutely & completely different scenarios...
Fox in that comment is poking at the liberal beehive and accusing them of probably celebrating the deaths of Americans based on their liberal views... and denouncing the true meaning of silent reflection on the largest attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor...
We certainly do not run around saying
"Happy Pearl Harbor Day" On December 7th do we?
SMH
lol!!Fucking Coy!!! lol
Yeah, fuck with us and you damn near have a decade to live afterwards. The band together part I agree with, David Letterman's speech his first night back on air was a great example of how everyone was feeling at the time.I'll say the only positive thing that came out of it was helping to unify the American people and showing the world that if you f*** with us and harbor our enemies then we will f*** you up. We all may not look past our noses as individual citizens some of the times but if s*** happens to out country then we band together.
