I don't get what's so special about GTRs/Skylines. They are only popular because of a certain movie franchise.

I could say the same for supras, eclipse, rx7, civics, integras, and just about every other car in those series

maybe the guys that were into legit street racing new about them but until those movies released, that when the car scene expanded a hell of a lot more and became more popular, shit I got into racing and cars because of those movies, granted ive moved away from the whole ricer look shit

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. Not just GTR in general but that's the only reason a good portion of the "enthusiasts" know how half of those cars

By the time FnF came out, the MRS was already in production. Toyota dug it's own grave for the MR2 when they decided to make it a convertible.
