Yonaka is a cheap exhaust made with poor quality. You might as well buy an ebay exhaust. If you want something that will work well once you turbo, get the Skunk2 MegaPower R or the MegaPower RR if you are feeling feisty. The sound on it isn't all that great, but it is quality made and is a straight through muffler. You can also look at kteller.com exhausts.

Thats the thing i don't want to offend anyone but i dont want a "fart can" looking type of exhaust.. I am sure skunk2 or hks or whatever exhaust that is that type of style are still high quality and high performance but it has been wayyy to outplayed in my area ... I like being different and like the look of yonaka or ws2 looking exhausts.. Recently i have been looking at Tanabe Medallion Touring what is your opinion about those ? The piping is 60mm is this good enough for a low-mid boost application for around 250whp?

You are going to want at least a 2.5" exhaust if you plan on boosting. Also, I am not offended. I actually have a WS2 on my car. Well, technically it is an Ebay Header, Ebay Testpipe Resonator, Ebay B Pipe, and Apexi WS2 axle back. Don't really recommend my set up to anyone. Very shitty exhaust. Love the muffler. Hate the rest.

Haha well as you can see i also got an ebay header since im going turbo in a year but i heard they are just as good as the dc sport or megan's and even power wise not that much behind big name brands... And heard the replica's flow almost as good as the real ones... Either way ws2 or tanabe ill do more research and see if i can some people at the meets and cruises on friday to hear them and judge them myself...

The header is coming on monday and ill get my brakes done and get new tires on the weekend so hopefully ill be out on the road around wednesday..

Also you said a p28 will just work fine with my motor when it is tuned.. What did you mean by tuned? I went to RPM ( a reputable shop that works on honda's ) .. I asked the owner about the ecu and all and he told me if i want a piggyback or a full tune like hondata..??? What do i need exactly? I want something to just run fine with the I/H/E setup that i have for now and utilize the full power and gas mileage... So i wanna keep the cost to a minimum... Nothing fancy for now.. so a piggyback will work fine?

No fucks given.
I'm pretty sure by "chipped" he means running a tuning program like Hondata or Crome or something like that (there's others, can't think of them off the top of my head though).

Any of those "Performance chips" are total garbage. You're better off cramming a few hundred bucks into the exhaust. You'd probably see more performance gains from that than those POS chips

Haha i know "performance" chips are garbage , what im looking for is just to run the car right... Im not looking for performance gains , im just trying to make the ecu compatible to a proper b16 ecu... I dont think this p28 ecu from a d16 is running the car to it's full potential..?

I asked the RPM owner that tunes cars about hondata and stuff he told me 600 bucks for hondata and 180 for an hour of tuning which is stupid because i dont even think ill realize the difference as opposed to a stock ecu... Im only going I/H/E for this year and i will go all out once it comes to turboing but for now is it necessary to dump almost 800 bucks in tuning?

So guys i got some new goodies yesterday ! My spark plugs and the intake filter came ! :D I think it looks alot better now...
I did not order them blue but it was the cheapest price on ebay and didn't specify the color so whatevs...
Also did some DIY "cold air intake" type of stuff from a tube i pulled out of the stock air box from my gti.. Lets see what you guys think... Also hopefully my header will come in on monday so i can take her for a spin...

Let me know if you guys think that'll work any better or if i should just put it back where it was ? I believe it should get a little bit colder air like this?

Ok guys my header just came in 15 mins ago so i got really excited and hooked it up before i took any pictures..:smackself Either way i got all the bolts in except bottom middle one where i couldn't reach with the ratchet and my my friend has my wrench set.. Anyways i got it hooked up and started no problem! Drove around and felt alot nicer than with the busted headers , especially at takeoff's... Overall i give 4/5 to this header being 130 bucks ... Hopefully it will do until it's time for some air squished in the motor... Weld's look hella clean but the tubes are a little wierd shaped at some parts.. Not too bad but they aren't exactly circular in some places... Anyways these are the photos i took after it was on... BTW they are really snug under the car so they won't get busted like the DC's.. I would say it's 2-3 inches higher...

Also would like to add they felt half as light as the DC's , the add stated 15 pounds....

I got some new tires for the bottlecaps ( Falken ziex-512 ) and put them on and took her for a test drive!!!!
Not looking her prettiest but taking care of the mechanics first.. Paintjob and some TLC will get her looking good soon...
