Not sure why, im pretty sure JDMxDB8 uses 5qts too. Never had an issue. Plus it helps to prevent starvation in corners.

i want to use it because its green. BUt i like the mobil 1 i use. I tends to get dirty a tad quicker than Amsoil signature does.
Wow over 10 bucks a quart that must be some good stuff it also states 25,000 mile oil change .. Sorry but i call BS on that one... Even with turbo engines it recommends 15.000 miles between oil changes.. Anybody with a turbo isn't gonna drive calm enough to make any oil last more than 5.000 miles... It'll work but i wouldn't run it for that long..

B16 only holds 4 quarts. Unless it has the GSR oil pan and pick up.
Wow good save... yes im about 200ml away from 4 quarts.. It has the stock pan and everything it even has a few dents on it so im gonna leave it like this until I run it.. Unless you guys think its OK to run the car for a few seconds with no headers?

Do not start it without your header on. Just wait until you can start it before topping it off.

As for the miles you can go on oil changes; You can go a lot more than 5k miles on todays oils. Lap tests have proven this. I however still change it fairly often. I don't do it by miles, I do it by rebuilds hahahah(Inside joke, because I have rebuilt my motor 5 times in the last year and a half).

Wow 5 TIMES!!! Did you do pistons one time rods another crank another or like full rebuild? That sounds frustrating... I would have just sold the car after second... And im only going to do 5k miles because i don't know what kind of oil they used and how clean the motor is ATM... Also i drive about 2x more agressive than anyone i know.. I like stomping on gas a few times a day at the least.. Hence my wall of speeding tickets since i got my license 3 years ago.. I have over 10 about 6 of them are speeding over 25mph.. Im not braggin but police really hates me especially the chopper ones .. Aghh I hate the chopper cops... I once got pulled over by one of those fancy bmw bikes, the guy was cooler than usual because i was in my 325i :p I was going 65 in a 35 and drifted around a gas station before he caught up to me in a dead end.. He told me that looked badass and how much horsepower i have and stuff LOL than he gave me a warning and took of hauling ars! One of the best days in my life...

My build thread has all of that information. But it was all full rebuilds every time. I know the ins and outs of B-series motors like I know the back of my dick.

I have never had a speed ticket or any moving violation ticket.

Im also going to do spark plugs and wires next let me know what you guys like or use.. Heard gold ones were best price/performance and Platinum doesn't really work well with older engines.. ? Also thinking about a new radiator or flush and put new fluid in the old one ? What else can i do to have a peace of mind when im driving and make her run top of the line.?

WOW still just parts alone would run a whole lot of dough! Thats crazy...

Also props man but you know how it is young and reckless showing off to friends and stuff. Im mature enough now to enjoy my cars legally in a track..

And glad to hear that hope you can help me pick out parts and stuff when im ready to go FI...

Yeah, tell me about it.

Yessir. Track is the best way to have fun with the homies in a safe place.

Muckman is the guy you want to talk to when it comes to boosting. He is on a whole other level when it comes to boosted hondas.

You don't need anything fancy. Hell I am using NGK BKR7E-11 plugs. You can use the same or get the NGK BKR6E-11. They are cheap and work just as well as anything else. I used to spend lots on iridium plugs, but there was no point.

Skunk2 radiator is quality. I have compared it to the Mishimoto radiators and I would say the skunk2 is built better. I say get a new radiator and replace your thermostat and waterpump with new OEM ones. Also, replace all of your hoses. Hoses are very common failures when you start tracking because the old ones can't handle it. Acuraoemparts.com is a great place to pick up all of the hoses. It really isn't that expensive.

Here is my cooling system and it works flawless at track:

Skunk2 Alpha Radiator
Skunk2 Silicone Radiator Hoses
12" Slim Fan
All other hoses are brand new OEM
New OEM Water Pump
New OEM Thermostat
OEM Type R/95 GSR Oil Cooler
Coolant+Water Wetter

Muckman.. I made a sticky and put it on my computer :D

Gsr came with Oil Cooler ? Ill check if previous owner switched it into this motor.. As for radiators have a few friends use mishimoto and no problems.. Even with b20v setup and half rad my friend is happy... What do you think about half radiators? IT would get me more clearance for headers and they make the engine bay look really clean..
Is this one any good? http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/SK2-349-05-2000?gclid=CLCYr56E6LgCFWQV7AodZTgAuQ

Also would you happen to know if a jdm p30 ecu would work with my motor it's obd1 and my car is as well.. My motor is running on a tricked p28 right now,, I believe out of a 92-95 si... Also have an ecu for I believe an LS integra also obd1 ( PR4 ) The previous owner told me the PR4 can be chipped and tuned.. Which is the best way to go ? I really don't wanna pay alot for chip and tune while i can get an ecu for 30 bucks.. The cars barely going to have any mods anyways only I/H/E for this year..

Mishimoto is good, but when I compared them the skunk rad was built better. Do not use a half radiator if you plan on tracking the car. A lot of people with half size have heating issues. It is more for show cars.

Why do you want the p30? Whats wrong with the p28? I use a Hondata chipped P28 tuned by a professional. Just get the stock ECU for your motor if you have no mods. No reason to over think it. The P30 won't work all that well because the P30 and PR3 have different internals.

Oh i thought the p30 was the correct ecu for my car... Isn't p28 for single cams? Thats what the owner told me.. And it's tricked to work with my car not tuned , not chipped.. Motor ran a little weird as well.. Rpm's started going everywhere at stops like 500-1500 rpm bouncing like a stripper...:p

Ok so i found this , have shopped from andys before and was pleased with price, shipping and customer service so ill probably buy it from here...

Also these are supposedly the matching pair...

Im not gonna do any track this year since there is no tracks here in El Paso... I will move to florida to finish college though and heard they have some good ones... But i will run the strip a couple times..
