I have this, Nothing great but it's my clearest freehand so far.

I don't see any noise dude, looks like a clean shot.

Well fuck, since everyone else is posting photos, here:

It's all I have recently but still taken with a DSLR :D

That one had almost none, You could see a little in full res around the wheels but in my experience that's to be expected.

VR is on, I'll spend the next few days shooting like crazy and keep you guys posted if there's any issues, I'm still a noob, lol

I'll shoot a few and see if i'm still having the issue, I just reset my camera, Gonna play around with it right now.

Resetting certainly seems to have improved it.

Sorry don't have anything very interesting to shoot.

I think I should invest in a macro lens.

Settings on these 2 were: iso 100, 5", f4.

^^ I've always wanted a macro lens so I could shoot things upclose like water droplets and water drop refractions.

I don't really see a problem in any of those. Noise is a given in an indoor setting. There will always be that shadow spot that no matter how long you leave your shutter open for, the light from the bulb cannot hit it. On top of that, the d3100 sensor might not be as forgiving or crisp as the higher models' sensor.

Agreed, I didn't have any old shots from the noise issue I was having but after resetting it seems like now all that's left is just typical noise that's to be expected, That 3rd shot could've used a longer shutter speed too, I think I just went ocd when I noticed the noise I was getting in daylight shots but I know I need a polarizing filter for that, I'll get a filter soon and start working on my technique because Cj and Ryan both are s****ing on me and I've had my camera longer. :(

Hmm, I need to get shots of my gauge lights, Cellphone just makes them look orange.
