There is a guy that drives by my job in I think a '12 STi hatch. Man that thing is super nice!!! The exhaust notes are amazing and hearing the turbo sounds just as sexy. Also there is a Lexus ISF that comes by and gets coffee a the Starbucks next door. I don't know if I would drop that kind of cash for a Lexus ISF though.

i still like the evo x even if it shares similarities with the hyundai genesis. I think the genesis is pretty spiffy anyways.

I'm a hyundai hater so whether its the evo borrowing tech from hyundai or vice versa, the association kills it for me. lol But im more into talking trash about hyundai than anything even though i love the genesis coupe body styling. Its still a fat pig though.

Im curious where it shares anything though. So i reserached and the results showed the genesis uses a Theta engine and the evo uses a 4b11t. But this excerpt off wikipedia explains some of it.

The Theta block used is very similar to the Mitsubishi Evolution X 4B11T, as core components like pistons and rods are said should move freely between them,[1] however, the two engines are not identical.
The turbo used is a Mitsubishi TD04 model. In stock trim this unit pushes a peak of approx. 16-18psi with a sustained 14psi.

hyundai is starting to improve as a car company. They are making cars that you could say youre proud of now. Back in the day, they were total pieces of shit.

It wasnt until the recent model that they 2.0 made decent power for a 3300lb car. The v6 alrite but again makes better power now. This is of course straight line. I bet you feel that weight in the turns.
