Yeah man. Anything with that cheap ass JRZ suspension is a ricer. All about dem ebay coil overs for $35.Is this rice?
no i'm getting fast and the furious info from a fast and the furious wiki fan made or not. . i know plenty about dsms which was why i found the movie laughable yet entertaining. there was nothing race about 90% of those cars. just like the s14 from "fast and furious" which also had turbo sound effects was a stock ka24de with plug wires. IIRC the eclipse from the first movie was using a prerecorded turbo honda engine for the sound effects.Dude.... You're getting DSM info from an idiotic fanmade FnF wiki?
This. That S2000 was pretty sick looking.
While it was in fact an RS/GS that came with the Neon motor,Just saying, the motor in the eclipse is very similar to the neon motor, but it is not the same motor.

Well it is a popular swap overseas...they're cheap and strong engines and cost less than b16'sThis.
My friends and I always laugh how they talk about the SR20 motors an he puts the shop owner over an empty engine bay of a Honda.
true. i think Chrysler calls it the "blower of head gaskets"Not quite. The eclipse head flows backwards compared to the neon. They are almost the same exact engine, but not quite. That's why one is called a 420a and one is whatever Chrysler coded it
the 3 420a's i've been around had HG issues. from what i hear it was an issue common on the automatic models. the 2 i most recently recall was my buddy earl's and then my former college friend Alicia's. she not only blew the HG but continued to drive to where it would shut off every several minutes lol. Literally coolant coming out of the block. that type of catastrophe could've been averted if she simply addressed the initial HG failure. The DOHC 2.0 is (ECC)
SOHC 2.0 is ECB or ECH, depending whether or not it is a Magnum engine or standard.
I always laugh when people tell me neons blow head gaskets. In the 6 I have owned I never had one with a bad head gasket. The only time I ever had to replace one was when I already had the head off.
Well I learned something.Well it is a popular swap overseas...they're cheap and strong engines and cost less than b16's
