FnF Ricers?

Just curious here.. Could you say that all or most of the cars in the fast and furious movies are ricers? I.e Jesse's Jetta.

Yes and no.

If you look at it through today's lens, then yes. But when the movie was made, no.

Imo they're more like flashy race cars, Take the eclipse in example, There's a place about an hour from me that has one of the eclipses from the movie and the whole car inside and out is built more like a racecar, Roll cage, Gutted interior, A lot of carbon fiber, Fully upgraded suspension Sway bars, Coils etc Apr aero's, It's just a flashy race car.

Ricers are more or less just douches that put big cheapo bumpers and shit and pretty much don't buy any performance stuff.

Definitely. It's just that when I imagine a serious ricer I imagine a car that is so flashed out it is unnecessary.

Just like Kurt, I consider them flashy race cars. Back then, if the motor wasn't built as much as the rest of the car, it was an embarassment to the owner. Nowadays, people put a fartcan, unpainted body kit/spoiler, ugly wheels and "cf" tails and call it a day.

Perfect example of what I mean is that DB posted above, he did all that crap then gave up and parted the whole car.
