About to Join the club finally

Hey folks my name is Aaron and im actually looking to purchase my first integra here in the next few days and wanted to say hi.
I have a prius for my DD so i was looking fr a fun car that me and my girl can work on as a fun little project on the side so i dont trade the prius in on something super expensive.
my goal is not to make a drag car but i am going to do the standard thing at least but not as far as a turbo job jsut yet.
i actually managed to find a GS-R 1996, here is the add.

Seems like the only body problems are the front bumper, and pass front fender,both of which would be replaced anyways. its not super high mileage and the seller says everything works. with price+++ the seller is gonna let me walk outat 2600, which i dont mind cause the new tag law in GA and the fact that its a GS-R lol. any thoughts on that let me know though it would be greatly appreciated.

sucky part is that its 300 miles away so it's gonna be fun trying to get there. but the drive back will let me get acquainted.

i was going to get a civic any series engine and have fun with that then isaw this for sale and figured why not start with 170+ horsepower HAHA!

any thoughts are always appreciated. VIN deff. checks out as a legit GS-R but the only thing i need to do now is make sure that its not a VIN salad.

ps/ is the purple color a stock thing? i couldnt find a list of options.

Looks to be a decent start for a project. Being a GS-R makes it even more nice!

I know the color is stock. There is one long time member here with a purple sedan, a gsr at that. I think. And a new member with a purple GS-R coupe.
As for the numbers produced, I don't know.

^One long time member with an ls sedan in that color and someone who joined a couple days ago with gsr sedan almost identical to the one you're getting.

:shock: HOLY CRAP :shock: :D its a one owner, just noticed that. Yes I will absolutely be getting this one! :lol:

Actually I was seriously looking into getting a body kit for the Prius because it needs to get repainted anyway, but I'd rather do that with something a little more fun. But who knows maybe in the future I'll do that anyway.

Yup brought it home today. drove 300+ miles home with a mix of city/highway and in the rain half the time. no leaks that I can see so far.
basically every body panel has some sort of damage via dents or scratches, but no biggie was probably gonna do a mild body kit anyways since it will cost the same.
the thing runs like a top, but the VTEC isn't as kick you in the pants as I thought it would be.
the car also came with about 2 Manilla envelopes worth of receipts for services. including new CV joints and axles and such.. walked out at 2600, and so far im perfectly fine with that.

the back windows go down and then kind of fall at an angle so they don't go all the way down so I guesse ill have to replace that.
and the driver door will not lock all the way if the door is open, don't know if its supposed to be like that but I don't mind lol.

also has a new distributor and cap and NGK wires

Ill come with kurt. And if its like the g2 the back windows are supposed to be like that. Everybody whos new to tegs thinks its an issue haha.
