thanks :D it's getting there piece by piece, too bad im only doing the little stuff... its gonna hurt me when I have to do the big steps

I would personally love to, but im not sure what coilovers to get, if not just springs+sways for now.. what the response is from the stock struts with a drop, tire rub and how much clearance I would have if I dropped

Idk what to put here...
with stock struts you really dont want to go more than an inch or you can blow a strut with just a good bump. really you shouldn't lower on stock but several people have done it with success. personally i would say go with koni yellow struts with a ground control coilover, it one of the best combos and not too terribly expensive. around 6-700 total iirc. i have tokicko 4-way adj. with skunk 2 coilovers and i have to say it rides pretty nice.

yea thats what i thought with the stock struts.. I have a few mods before then to do lol.. starting to want power now.. got bored and did some runs with my "gps dyno" which shows 0-60 1/8, 1/4 etc using satellites.. horrible lol I cant launch this thing to save my life, plus my clutch felt like it was slipping in second..
RT was .056
0-60ft 19.85mph @ 3.00 sec
1/8th 64.04 11.06
1/4 82.77 @ 17,01 sec
0-60 mph @ 10.24 sec
when stock 0-60 is like... 7.8? and 1/4 should be high 15's if im not mistaken

ok.. MOAR UPDATEZ, went with a 2001 front conversion, just waiting for headlights to arrive, also have my paint ready.. so within a week or so I will have

been busy lately.. new things lately have been tune up, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, cam seal, valve adjustment, O2 Sensor

New to me ITR front lip.. picked up for $20 at a junkyard

and just got in today, 2 new lower ball joints and outer tie rod for my passenger side


and have took a 3 day vacation in ST Augustine

so... now im depressed/angry? out of nowhere yesterday my tach was going nucking futz.. sweeping all the way across and having a seizure.. thought nothing of it and ignored it.. well went to the grocery store came back out and no start/ no crank, was thinking wtf I was just driving it even if the battery was dead i should still get one more out of it..went inside to ask for a jump, while waiting i tried one more time and boom fired right up no hesitation.. so decided to test the ignitor and ignition switch.. the switch is worn out so i might as well replace that and the ignitor is $70 to swap and it could even be the coil which is $100 so for $150 i can get a refurbed dizzy.. even thought just bought a cap and rotor for $40... FML with this car lol
