I believe so, but try holding the key to the right for a few seconds if you haven't already

Mine doesn't unlock it. It's all connected to the lock/unlock switch in the interior door locks. I unplugged mine.

I've tried it many times and each time the trunk, happily, opened up. The doors stayed forever locked.

do you have the latch lever on the trunk? or is it, when you turn the key, it opens it? what year is yours?

i have a 1994 2 door i am putting up for sale and BOTH outside door handles are broken! i cannot seem to find 2 door handles anywhere, but plenty of 4 door handles..will the ones from the front doors a 4 door fit my car? that way i still have the key lock function..i hope so, because this one little hicup is keeping me from selling my car! thanks for any info provided!
