rear window visor brackets?

I hate buying these damn things because they always get stolen and then there goes another 80 bucks down the drain. Thats what happened to me again recently. I love the way these rear visors look though! So can some one tell me if they have ever seen brackets for these visors so that you can just take them off and put them back on whenever you would like? Maybe a different mounting system other then the classic 3m tape?

I actually contacted a ebay seller that was selling the rear visor, and asked just for the brackets, he sold me a set for $10 shipped. Might want to try that!

It would be a pain in the ass to remove that huge thing each time you're parked for the fear of not having it stolen. I don't think it's worth it.

how else you going to mount it? need the brackets to keep ot stable.. and who would steal that?! either deal with it or just install for shows.

because the OP was asking if there were more permanent brackets like the oem window visors.

I am not in to the whole visor thing, but I am sure you can rig something up that just bolts to the hatch hinges. You could also probably make something that is like a hook that hooks on and uses the clamping force and weight of the hatch to keep it on. Then if you want to take it off, just pop the hatch and remove it. I am sure it is possible, you just have to get creative and probably fabricate something. If I had a visor I could probably do it and then sell you the brackets, but meh.

Other option would be to ditch the visors because they look stupid anyways :p Just sayin.
