I think I would tear down a used block regardless of what I was told before installing it. Especially one that had been sitting for as long as that one did.
which is what was told to him by the person I sold it to.I think I would tear down a used block regardless of what I was told before installing it. Especially one that had been sitting for as long as that one did.
^ this - I would wanna see actual/physical proof - like a video or picsCall me scammer all you want. You never posted pics of any damage or asked for a refund.
they said it was smoking at the track when he tracked it. No clue what was done when it was assembled, what happened during installation or even what fluids were added.^ this - I would wanna see actual/physical proof - like a video or pics

You still admitted to sending him a different pic to shut him up, that kinda kills all potential trust, no?I just love how every one of you nut huggers think I scammed him. I never made a deal with him.
you're right. You still admitted to sending him a different pic to shut him up, that kinda kills all potential trust, no?
Ok, you scammed Matt then. Is that better then?I just love how every one of you nut huggers think I scammed him. I never made a deal with him.
I wish I had just done so too. Like I said, lesson learned not to trust what people say. Oh and you guys keep bringing up the sitting and rust, but do you seen any rust on the cylinder walls in the pics Local sent me of its arrival? The only rust was on the top of the sleeve. The damage to the cylinders was not visible until the pistons were removed.I think I would tear down a used block regardless of what I was told before installing it. Especially one that had been sitting for as long as that one did.
I have already answered why I can't do this. I didn't take the time to snap a pic of it the day I took it to the machine shop. I literally stripped it, saw the strange spiral grooves, tried to clean up 1 of the cylinders with a hone to test if it would, got mad that it didn't and rushed it to the machine shop like it was the Emergency Room. I was just pissed about more money being lost on my build that I didn't give a fuck about pics, ricky, or anything. I also had no intentions of calling him out or talking to him or anything, but when i saw he made a new thread and is becoming active again I had to say something.^ this - I would wanna see actual/physical proof - like a video or pics
Right, since pics is a very good way to judge how well a cylinder is prepped  . Lighting, angles and all that fun shit come in to play. Also I never said shit about the crosshatching being bad at the top of the cylinders which is what the pic shows. I said the bottom half had spiraling grooves and a bore that was uneven. The uneven part was only noticeable by feel, but was actually pretty bad.you're right.
But can you show me a difference in machine work in either one of those pics other than the pistons?
History of scamming.pretty much they dropped and chipped the corner of the wing.
I contacted them to make a claim since i added a 1000.00 insurance. They never responded but i got a letter on my door the next day for a package pick up. I contacted a rep again and asked what that was about. he explained to me that he wanted to bring the spoiler in to estimate damages. Once estimate was made, DESTROY the spoiler and send me a 1000.00 check. I instantly thought, Who the fak would want to destroy this amazing mugen product. So my gears started turning and i thought, "hmmm, how about i take before and after damage pics of another spoiler i have laying around. These are ups employees, they dont even know what mugen is!" So i went to my garage and got my factory spoiler. took pics with one camera and emailed them to the original seller, then dropped the spoiler a few times and took pics. Submitted pics tonight and i have the mugen in a secret safe place.
im a smart shiesty mother effer.
if i might say so myself.
You didn't just post pics of the wrong block. You made up a story to go along with it. Shiesty mother effer indeed.so i did some research and I actually found pics of the block after I go it back from the machine shop. The only difference is I have the JDM ITR pistons in this pic. I later installed the CTR pistons to up the compression and did some odd and end painting. Please engine specialist on here, do these walls look like a bear destroyed them?
installing headstuds
head gasket
That's beside the point though, he was not sold the pictured engine.. And the machine work will never be 100% the same, they are different engines. And actually, im sure I could spot plenty differences if it was in front of me.you're right.
