Need Engine

Check craigslist. If you want a straight drop in, just get the same engine you have now. If it's a B18A they're pretty cheap and usually for $600.

I like Hondas
Even having the dealer do it would be cheaper than getting another engine

Idk if this is with all cars but when my timing belt snapped on my other car I had to replace the whole head, so, maybe that's why you are looking for another motor?

Mine snapped and nothing happened. Usually when the timing belt snaps it messes up the valvetrain. New valves and springs are cheaper than an engine.

Usually when it happens, the motor is done (most of the time). Put a new belt on there and cross your fingers, unless you heard bad noises when it happened

You could have no damage at all to your valves. I have had a timing belt snap on my old car and nothing happened to the motor. New timing belt and I was on my way.

Did you check for any damage?

Didn't have time or money to. Got a new timing belt and water pump and my dad and grandfather (retired mechanic) put them on while i was at work and it fired right up and haven't had problems since, and that was last august.
