Not nearly as good as any of your guys but messing with some edit options in the camera:

Exposure correction. Definately looks better of course. Do you use the camera to take readings and then go manual for your shot? Ive got a lot of learning in the editing still. I have a hard time deciding on final settings.

Exactly, and contrast and sharpness boosting to bring out the colors of the fish. Right now I'm doing only manual. Won't learn anything by letting the camera do everything but that little fucker was a bitch to focus, I was bobbing and weaving like a boxer.

The in-camera editing is pretty damn good.

That looks really nice Ryan.

Here's a random tip, for that blue Si photo I posted, under direct sunlight I set the WB to auto, shutter speed to 1/80 with an aperture of 11 and I'm really surprised with the great result. Somebody go practice and post their results :thumbs up

Thanks man  did you do anything editing to the pics or do they come out that way?

Most of my recent pics I've just added my logo and darkened the corners a bit. Those drag race pics are the same. No other editing otherwise aside from what I just mentioned :)

Yeah dont take rain for granted. When you want to learn those shots there wont be any rain.

Even experienced photographers use the auto setting to take a reading and then choose their setting based off that. Especially those that dont have a light meter handy.

I'm not saying I won't ever use the auto setting. I just want to use the manual setting for now to learn and play with.
