tie rod removal

okay so i need new outer tie rod ends. i go to take it off and i cant get the bottom bolt off.

pin broke off and in the process of getting that pin out. however ive heard that the bolt to aline it can be froze anyone know how i could get this off ??

also brake calipers as cheap as possible anyone know of a place i can get them. dont say autozone or something like that 280 for all of them all the way around.

Check out one of the oemacuraparts.com sites or junk yards. Don't go "cheap as possible" on brakes dude :D

Are you talking about the nut on the ball joint for the tie rod? I never have a problem with the impact gun.

Brake calipers? I have reman'd rear calipers on my teg from autozone. They are OEM, just rebuilt. No problems.

I use a method that is recommeded by half and not by the other half, for your sake I would say to get the king nut off (amply named since it looks like a crown) I would say spray some liquid wrench on there, otherwise impact gun works, or a breaker bar. I have run into a problem where the cup and ball area of the ball joint were so worn out that the bolt part spun with the king nut, in this case it's time to grind the king nut off.

well for the time being i just need calipers that will work for now even if i have to replace them in a year. right now no job no money. sold my van for this better on gas. but now im regretting it a lot.

i have a impact ratchet you think thatll work the same.

never heard of liquid wrench before. lol i feel dumb and you all might say i am after i tell you i might have been torquing it the wrong way lmao. but im guna try the impact wrench tomorrow morning its to hot right now.
