Starting problems B1 in DA9

Yeah you did things way differently. My car is obd1 so idk if what you did will be the same for me and idk if I could handle all that wiring. I have another thread on here explaining how I did mine but I think I'm gonna have to swap out the intake manifold with the b18a1 manifold and ill have basically converted the b1 to and a1 running on an obd1 ecu and harness. Thanks for the info though.
Honestly bro obd0 a1 to obd2 b1 is plug and play basically just use your ECUs obd code distributor and wore harness and extend some plugs it's not hard it was my first time just measure good . It is just like messing with speaker wire. Twist them together so they are snug and wrap it with black electric tape, it's really easy. Just male sure the wire color matches when you cut them and connect and your good.

Persnally I'd recommend not just twisting and wrapping with black tape. get a cheap soldering station, shrink tube and do it right. cost is negligeable for both those items ( like maybe 25 bucks) and then you don't have to worry about wires separating or the black tape getting gooey and melting from engine bay heat and fluids.

I'd have to agree with this guy. I don't have a soldering kit but whenever I do any wiring I use the blue connecters that crimp. This is better than twisting the wire together but not as professional as soldering.

I also agree and will be redoing my whole harness to make it correctly done.

Glad you agree, I was gonna light you up for rigging up a clusterf*** of a harness like that! :p
Yeah man, I can't run a harness all exposed I am gonna put the wire harness plastic tubing I guess you can call it once I secure the wires themselves. I know I have some work to do that's forsure.

Yeah, solder and heat shrink is the ONLY way to go. Then get new loom and electrical tape to reloom it and make it look as good as new! Lol..

So I was messing with the car today, and noticed that the timing belt cover was rubbing against the cams, and is in the way of power steer pump, Yes I know, I need b18a1 cover. I also noticed my timing belt was inches away from snapping, so it almost messed up my head, but luckily I caught it just in time, so tomorrow ima go get the belts, power steer pump and bracket and just a few little things and I should be able to finally take it for my first spin. I'm glad I don't own one of my customers civic, it's a ek coupe, still with a single, only good thing on it seems to be the header (4-2-1) and CAI. The guy paid 2,500. And the tranny is bad. The guy is dumb for buying it there is so much wrong with it, but Hey, I know mine needs work too, but I know for damn sure my car will kill a stock single (obviously ) and why do I care you ask? So I can blow the doors off my friends eg hatch, it's clean outside, but has no get up. All bark no bite, but it's all fun and games, I hope I can take down this guys 240sx , and no it doesnt have the sr20 or whatever the 240 is SUPPOSED to be running, so I don't think it'll be a problem, I just have a list of guys I wanna race on the strip and auto-x. But I have to remember it's only a stock b1.

Which brings me to my next question. What is some good mods to start off with, besides cold air intake. I know a 4-2-1 header would be good, and my whole plan was to boost this car, since b1 are good with turbo considering the compression. So blow up my thread with good mods, to start off with, nothing too crazy and affordable.
