Howdy, well I just picked up my DA earlier this week, there are pics posted in the projects section. It is a clean title car that I now see needs a slight bit of attention to the drivers side fender but nothing too bad. I just found last night that the rough idle and running rich is due to my bad Coolant temp senor, thanks to counting the CEL flashes lol.

Otherwise this car is in great driving condition and I only paid $1300 for it, good thing it will be my daily driver. I also have a LS1 based Z28 Camaro sitting in the garage and unfortunately I am a car nut I get super attached to any car I own lol. I plan on doing fat 5's on the DA and maybe coil overs to lower it a little bit, and also a decent stereo head unit along with fixing the antenna lol.

I look forward to fixing up the integra while driving it, I am loving how inexpensive Honda parts are, this is nice since I spent $1k on my exhaust alone for the Camaro (That was full race headers and the rest of the exhaust piping, I even went with a less expensive setup the best setup is closer to $2000).

Anyways, I am looking forward to the fun.

I am out in Riverside, the wife and I bought a house out here for next to nothing.

I will let ya know if I need anything, I am noticing now that I believe the guy had lied a tad, which it expected, but it does leak oil. It looks like it is mostly from the cam seals and the valve cover so that's getting done this weekend, what are recommended gaskets/seals? Are the ones from Autozone ok?

Also doing the window motor as well, that spring is very tighty would lol.

:welcome:

Let me know if you need parts, service, or tires. :thumbs up
Just checked out your site, very cool, I have done LSX swaps in cars and maybe one day if I decide it to be fun I will swap something more fun into the DA9.

I wanna check out the shop one day when I am back out that way I used to work at a shop called Spot 28 in Arcadia and I did my last LSX swap there, it was a 96 camaro getting the LS1 from a 2001 camaro, pretty simple really, just needed to modify the engine harness to work with the interior wiring of the 97 car.

So... I have a pretty decent issue. Apparently some gnomes crawled into the engine and today as I went to get it warmed up to smog, it overheated when I parked and spewed coolant all over via the overflow tank.

I am realllllllyyyyy hoping it's just a huge air bubble and not a head gasket, although head gaskets are easy it's just annoying.

Me too, that's what I get for not bringing tools to do a compression test there... Oh well still not bad for $1300, time to do some work lol.
