Raceland vs. Monroe?

Why not just save up for the buddy clubs now, it's only 400$ more
ONLY $400!

probably way too stiff for him. I would suggest stock suspension if having it on lowering springs is too stiff.
You saying I'm a pussy and can't handle something being stiff?? haha j/k. But people complain that some coilovers are way too bouncy, so not all coilovers can be stiff.

So if your correct about lowering you car makes it stiff, then I'll just keep my current set up then, just changing the struts. But the thing that bothers me is that when I turn sharply, the tires scrape.

a tein S tech has a spring rate of 6k front, 4k rear. Which is where the Ground-Control systems start at i think. Other coilovers will be a bit higher, around 8k because they are "race inspired" or a true racing product. I would get an adjustable shock like a Tockico Illumina which will help you make the ride softer or firmer depending on how its adjusted. it also fits with stock top hats.

I REALLY appreciate your input :D. But illumina's are about $150 each, which is way out of my budget atm. How about TruHart Sport Shocks from Tunersports? All 4 for $189 shipped?

btw, I currently have Tein S. Techs lowering springs, which I think you knew already...

Fat guy in a little coat.
Those are good. Nobodys talking about the monroes, but they are a good decent quality product. Cept its not all jdm stuff, its still a long lasting product.

For some reason, people will always suggest you get something a little out of your range.

Go to the junk yard, get a set of oem springs, then pick up a set of tokico blues, or the trueharts, even better. You should make it under 450, just tell him the springs are for an escort.

I decided not to get the Monroe's cause why pay $430 for stock springs and shocks.

My new plan is to just get the TruHart shocks and keep my tein springs. So I basically saved around $240 :D

I haven't heard anything about TruHart from anyone, do a review when you get em. Can't beat the price

Bouncy coils are usually shitty, I think. I have Buddy Club Racing Spec and even at full stiff/soft, they're not bouncy
