Does anyone have just the muffler welded to steel piping? I was thinking of buying just the muffler instead of the full $500+ for the full catback and I already have an aftermarket cat as well as 2.5 inch piping. I'm just worried about how it'll sound...

I do. I have the muffler just welded to some piping from a cheapie axle back. Mine probably isn't the best judge for sound though as I have shitty header and 2 resonators, but yeah.

Yeah, his video is better. All I have are High reving track vids. Let me find you one that has the clearest sound. Ignore the sloppy driving. Keep in mind this is with a cell phone, so the sound quality is lacking.

I was going to do the same thing.. get the Apexi universal 3" turbo muffler and get the kteller 2.5" cat back piping with a 2.5" to 3" adapter.. wouldve cost a little bit cheaper than going with the full catback from Apexi.

Wait i dont have a ws2 loool! oops sorry. I have a Greddy SP2 and Skunk2 Mega Power. They switch depending on the track. Its usually the mega power. Because i havent been dinged yet at thunderhill.

The sp2 is with a B18B the Megapower is with my current motor.
