Well, I may not get tires and depending on how my funds look, I may have to sell the 5's. I'm either looking at rebuilding my motor or swapping it with a b18b or b20b.

Or...
Swap the tires from your meshies to the Fives and sell the meshies. =)

Convert to 5spd instead of doing an engine swap

Well I'm going to give it one last shot tomorrow before making my decision. I'm going to change out the mobil 1 and start running castrol gtx. I read the motors tend to burn synthetic oil.

Really? Do you have the link that supports this? I was going to run synthetic this oil change. If my motor burns it, I'm not spending the extra. Synthetic blend, maybe, but not full synthetic.

I was reading on ti and h-t that people who would run mobil 1, which is what im currently using, would burn a lot of oil, but then they switched to castrol gtx and the problem went away. I'm going to try it and see if it helps.

Hmm. I may try Castrol GTX this coming oil change then. i don't burn oil, but it couldn't hurt to be preventative.

Thanks. I have been hanging with a local shop that does detailing. The owner said he liked my work and he might need me when business picks up in the summer. He has also been showing me new products and detailing techniques.
