Where did u get the paint? I used two sources of paint, one from paintscratchfix.com (pr something like that) and color match from my local autozone, and the local paint matched almost perfectly, just lacked clear coat. The online paint came out with a yellowish shade (white car) :(

I got mine from PaintScratch.com, but like I said, the paint matched the rest of the car perfectly, but since the bumper was a shed darker, it makes the lip look lighter :/

That's what i meant. Guess it doesn't help huh
oh haha yeah, The special mixed paint that I got was like $25 a can, so I picked up some similar colored paint from autozone on the cheap to do the first 2 coats, then used 2 coats of the mixed paint on top. That way I only had to get 1 expensive can.

Well there's your problem
the idea of the undercoats is to get the color to be similar so that 2 coats of matched color doesn't have to try to cover primer by itself. you can't tell there was ever another maroon color on the lip. and besides, the problem isn't the lip not matching, its the bumper being a different color haha

I say look for an OEM bumper and take the lip off and paint new bumper and lip together.
I'd love an OEM bumper..but If I were to do that, then why not just do a JDM convo? lol
