guys i need to know please if i can put the b18b1 n tranny engine from a 2001 gs integra...
reason im doing this is because i had a 2001 integra with everything original on it.new everything from engine to tranny..n my ex girl crashed it..total lost ..now im gettin a 1993.cheap.i wanna know if i can put the engine with the tranny on it..
does the computer works for it or i should use the one on the 2001 .?
does the engine fits with the tranny..?
1993 i think is cable clutch...can i make it hydrolic like d 2001?
i had skunk 2 coilovers...do they fit too?
hot about the knuckle...i changed the bearings new n i would like to put em on too.?

now remember its from a 2001 acura gs b18b1 to a 1993 ????
what can be possible.. ?

Guess you've never heard of Google? Haha.. All those topics have been covered a million times, try Google, or the search function here. 2001 is obd2, so you need to convert it to obd1... that's all I'm gonna say, the rest is easily available by a quick search.

motor should swap fine... the tranny is going to be the main difference as the 01's have a hydro tranny right? there you are looking at a cable to hydro conversion kit or swapping the pedals from the 01 also...

OFC a quick google or bing seach you would find this info :p

if your so pro of a "MEchanic" then why bother asking questions if you did all the "reading" of a car before touching it then you could have answered the questions you had for yourself, anything is pretty much possible if your willing to fabricate it.

1,the computer will not work..to many years apart Brother u cant compare 2001 to 1993 JUNK..
2.the engine could fit ,but idk about the tranny ,i think not.agood idea,u would have to do so much sht i cant even Xplain.
3.cable,hydrolic i dont even know what ur talkin about ,,u see i use cable on my 1993 pz of crap..

Anyways it seems all your heartache could be solved by getting a 3rd gen shell for ~$500. Hell you could possibly trade your 2nd gen for one. Then your biggest worry is obd1 or 2.
